Training/seminar on strengthening of human resources for the process of European Integration in Pril Print E-mail
Thursday, 18 February 2010
Within the project European Integration – Chances and Challenges for Local Communities in the WB a training program on strengthening of human resources for the process of European Integration took place in Prilep (Macedonia) on 27th November in organisation by the Citizens’ Pact for SEE and Prilep local government. Mr. Daniel Kennedy-Stojanovic, an experienced trainer and coach, who has gained worldwide experience as development expert and has worked and reached outstanding results with numerous high level politicians, managers, artists and sportsmen-and women, held this one-day impulse training/seminar.

The role of local and regional communities is getting bigger and will grow even more. In nearly all fields of society it is the local and regional public, private and civil institutions, which make a considerable contribution to a successful sustainable development and an improvement of people’s living conditions.

We believe that the process of European Integration of any European nation is not only a question of governmental negotiations or high level decisions somewhere in Brussels and even not a question of EU Membership. It is more a question of values and self-responsible action in daily life.  Therefore, for  local managers of public institutions, elected representatives of local governments and councils, managers of NGOs and other local key stake holders, it takes great leadership to create the atmosphere of a thriving and prosperous community, interested and engaged for own living conditions and those of the next generations.

While willing to create ongoing changes, which result in better life conditions for our citizens, our ambition here is to give leaders the opportunity to shift their thinking, and to go one step further in their own personal development. Thus, the training program has an aim to enable participants to activate more own resources and those from others, become a master of communication and social competency and a good coach yourself.

This training/seminar held in Prilep is one in a raw. Previously trainings took place in BiH (Banja Luka and Prnjavor). The next training will be held on 12th December in Beocin (Serbia).
